The Culture Strategy and Delivery Plan were commissioned by Team London Bridge in July 2017 with the desire to raise the ambition and aspirations of the Culture offer in the area. As the work required both strategic and delivery knowledge of producing work in public realm and with traditional venues, with desired knowledge of Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), the Times Square expertise informed how to bring a very commercial area into cultural interest. The resulting strategy and plan cross-referenced plans and policies for London Bridge Southwark Council and the GLA + consulted 120 hours with major stakeholders and potential London partners + interrogated major funding bodies about the future trends and themes. The partnership approach accelerates public realm activity and generates shared messaging.
